Doctor-supervised diabetes coaching on WhatsApp
Divia is a coaching programme for adults with type 2 diabetes or prediabetes in Pakistan. Patients message Amal, an AI coach, for everyday support with meals, activity and glucose checks, between visits with their doctor.
Divia is currently running a small pilot with invited patients. It is not open for public sign-up.
How it works
Message on WhatsAppPatients send meals, readings and questions to Amal in Urdu, Roman Urdu or English.
A doctor supervisesA licensed doctor sets the plan and reviews anything the coach cannot or should not answer.
Urgent cases go to a personEmergency symptoms and dangerous readings are handled by fixed safety rules and passed to the doctor straight away.
What Divia is not
Amal is an AI coach. It is not a doctor. It does not diagnose, change medicines or replace a patient's own doctor.
